Frequently Asked Questions
WoodCream Softener is used to dilute WoodCream in various situations. It helps create a more transparent or aged look, especially when used with colours from the Grey Collection. It also improves application on rough-sawn, dry (<14% moisture) or highly porous wood, and is recommended when applying two layers for a more covering finish. Additionally, the Softener slows down drying, making it easier to apply in hot or sunny conditions. For maintenance and renovation, using the Softener is always required.
Yes, using WoodCream Softener can influence the warranty conditions. Please consult the official maintenance and warranty guidelines to ensure proper use and compliance.
The ratio depends on the level of transparency you want to achieve. As a general guideline, we recommend a maximum ratio of 1:1 (equal parts) WoodCream Softener to WoodCream. Always test beforehand to get your desired look.
